President urges West to respect other nations

Kerman, Kerman Prov, May 26, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Wednesday called on the Western states to respect other nations.
Addressing a large gathering of local people in this southeastern provincial capital city, he urged the West to refrain from oppression, discrimination and arrogance attitude.
The great Iranian nation is the forerunner of justice, brotherhood, peace and love, he said, adding that the world should know that the Iranian nation will not give any political or economic privilege to any of the world countries.
The Iranian nation is interested in materialization of justice in all domestic and international arenas, the President said, stressing that the Islamic Republic is against any kind of bullying.
Criticizing the veto right, he regretted that several members of the United Nations Security Council which possess nuclear bombs have the veto right.
“They occupy lands and kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people. They are the most dictator regimes in the world. They support the most corrupted currents while they chant slogans in favor of human rights, freedom security and annihilation of nuclear weapons,” President Ahmadinejad reiterated.
Referring to the issue of providing fuel for the Tehran research reactor, he said that some 850,000 patients are in need of pharmaceutical products of that research reactor while its fuel is to be exhausted soon.
He referred to Turkey and Brazil as “Iranians' friends”, saying Tehran has confidence in Ankara provided that the Turks do not deviate from the path of justice, respect, brotherhood, cooperation and the policy of nuclear energy for all.
