Minister: US hostile appoach toward Iran has failed

Tehran, May 19, IRNA -- Minister of Information Hojatoleslam Heidar Moslehi said on Wednesday that the US hostile approach toward Iran has failed as American experts have acknowledged.

Hojatoleslam Moslehi told reporters after weekly cabinet meeting that the US hasty reaction and illogical comments to Tehran Declaration on fuel swap on May 17 indicated that the US hostile approach toward Iran has led the US officials to desperation.

He made it clear that the current US desperation is the outcome of Washington's hostility toward the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He added that the US wants to get out of the current situation.

“The Iran-Turkey-Brazil declaration is a strong tripartite document which envisaged good provisions.”

He said that if other parties really favor easing tension, they should respect provisions of the declaration.
