Iran welcomes resumption of nuclear talks with G5+1

Tehran, May 12, IRNA -- Deputy Secretary of Supreme National Security Council for international affairs Ali Baqeri said on Wednesday that Iran welcomes proposal made by European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton to resume talks on dispute over Iranian nuclear program.

He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran principally believes in negotiations based on trust and logic.

Iran advises the EU that if they adopt a clear and logic stand in negotiations, there will be no room for failed approaches being subject to opposition in the international community, he said.
