Tehran, May 7, IRNA – Majid Kacavand who was arrested by French Police in Paris during last Iranian New Year holiday, Nouruz on a family trip due to a US intrigue arrived in Tehran Friday night.
According to IRNA, Kacavand who was found “not guilty” by a Paris court and freed from prison on Thursday arrived in Tehran’s International Imam Khomeini Airport aboard the first Iran Air Paris-Tehran flight.
The United States had accused this Iranian citizen of buying and forwarding facilities with dual usage to Iran and had asked France to deliver him under custody to US security officials in America.
The Paris court branch in charge of surveying the case voted against the US accusations and rejected Washington’s request for his delivery under custody.
