Bandar-Abbas, Hormuzgan, April 24, IRNA – The 3rd stage of the IRGC war game dubbed “Holy Prophet 5” ended successfully in the Persian Gulf region, a military official said Saturday.
Spokesman of the Islamic Republic Guards Corps (IRGC) military drill Brigadier General Abdollah Araqi made the remarks while talking to reporters covering the event.
The maneuver was a fight against the imaginary enemy, Araqi said, adding that it showed full readiness of the IRGC’s naval forces to strongly react to any likely attacks against the country.
The naval, air and ground forces have been under special training for six months in order to get ready for the military drill, Araqi added.
He said in addition the third phase of the maneuvers was directed and controlled in a war room, in completely real conditions, adding that the IRGC’s ground forces succeeded in achieving all their war game goals.
