MP: New IAEA report signifies Iran's peaceful N-program

Tehran, Feb 19, IRNA -- An Iranian lawmaker said on Friday that the new unofficial IAEA report on Iran has re-confirmed peaceful nature of the country’s nuclear activities.
In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission spokesman and MP from Shahroud (Semnan Province), Kazem Jalali said, “The report too has confirmed peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities. That’s exactly what former IAEA Chief Mohammed ElBaradein repeatedly emphasized in the past.” He said however that one should wait and see what will be the contents of the official IAEA report on Iran.
“Naturally, the official report to be released by the new director general of the Agency will show somehow his approach towards Iran’s peaceful nuclear program,” he added.
