President: Mrs Clinton is talking about U.S. not Iran

Tehran, Feb 16, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday that the statement made by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton contradicts with the general policy declared by US President Barack Obama Administration.

Asked to comment about Mrs Clinton's remarks that Iran has developed military government, President Ahmadinejad said that it reflects what the US is doing now rather than the Iranian government.

"The US is currently involved in three wars in the region and that all 75 million Iranian population are the guards of the Islamic Revolution. I think Mrs. Clinton is talking about the US actions in the region," he said.

"We don't know what Mrs Clinton is saying reflects policy of the US administration or she is talking on behalf of different politcal wings of the United States."
