Iran delivers first batch of 20 pc fuel to produce isotopes

Tehran, Feb 11, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that Iran managed to deliver the first batch of 20 percent fuel on Wednesday to produce isotopes.
“Under god’s grace, the first batch of 20 percent uranium was delivered to Tehran reactor yesterday,” said President Ahmadinejad in an address to large crowd of people at Tehran’s Azadi Square on the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s triumph anniversary.
He said in the near future the amount of the fuel delivery will increase three-fold.
He invited the west to show goodwill in connection with the fuel supply for Tehran medical reactor operating since 1960s to produce isotopes for treatment of patients suffering from cancer.
