Iranian FM highlights "good talks" with IAEA chief

Munich, Feb 6, IRNA -- Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki here Saturday pointed to "good talks" with the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Yukiya Amano, on the nuclear issue.

Talking to media representatives on the sidelines of the 46th Munich Security Conference, Mottaki said, "I have had a good meeting with Mr. (Yukiya) Amano, the IAEA director general ..."We exchanged views on various issues and Iran's cooperation with the IAEA, he added.

Talks focused also on the IAEA proposal, according to Mottaki who tried to explain Iran's views in his meeting with Amano.

He reiterated the need to remove lingering doubts and ambiguities on the IAEA nuclear fuel swap plan.

The minister made clear that Iran's leadership was unified on the issue of a nuclear fuel exchange plan under the auspices of the IAEA.
