IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Jan 8, IRNA -- Substitute Friday prayers leader of Tehran, Hojatoleslam Kazem Sediqi, said here Friday that Iranian nation will no longer tolerate breach of the law by a group of law breakers.
“If law breakings continue and the judiciary and the security and military forces fail to extinguish fire of conspiracy and the ring leaders of conspiracy continue targeting people’s religion, the revolutionary Iranian nation will no longer tolerate,” said Hojjatoleslam Sediqi in his second Friday prayers sermon to large groups of worshipers.
He said people are strongly loyal to the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei. “The Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution always invites us to moderation. Any kind of extremism is against doctrine of the Supreme Leader.”
Pointing to the nationwide December 30 rally, Hojatoleslam Sediqi said people showed in the rally that they honorably appreciate Islamic feature of the system as an identity and fact and no power can take it away from them.
Condemning Riyadh Friday prayers’ insult to Shiites’ top religious figure in Iraq, Hojatoleslam Sediqi assimilated the insulting move to that in Iran on December 7.
“The insult to the Supreme Leader and the late Imam Khomeini here (in Tehran) and that to Shiites’ top figure in Riyadh are of similar nature, following an identical goal. Such insults will only disgrace the insulters and stabilize position of our top religious figures,” said Hojjatoleslam Sediqi, while referring to tearing apart of the picture of the founder of the Islamic Republic the late Imam Khomeini on December 7 by a group of rioters.
