Majlis session starts to review Ashura events

Tehran, Dec 30, IRNA -- The Majlis (Parliament) started its closed session midday on Wednesday to review the riots happened on the Ashura Day (December 27) across Iran.
Majlis is to elaborate on insulting events on Sunday during which seven people were killed as Tehran Prosecutor Abbas Ja'fari Dolatabadi told reporters on Tuesday.
The closed session is being chaired by Majlis First Vice-Speaker Mohammad-Hassan Abutorabi-Fard.
Iran’s Prosecutor-General Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei as well as a number of country’s security officials are present at the Majlis.
Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar will take part in the closed session later on Wednesday to give a report on the issue.
