Supreme Leader dismisses comments by foreigners on Ashura riots

Tehran, Dec 30, IRNA -- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Wednesday dismissed comments made by foreigners about the riots on Ashura Day.
Addressing members of the Union of Islamic Associations of Students in Europe, the Supreme Leader described the scientific movement in the country as an essential need and underlined the great mission of the youth to acquire science and technology and apply them for the sake of God.
“Institutionalizing the science in the country is the most effective way to achieve the ideals advocated by the Islamic system,” the Supreme Leader said.
The Supreme Leader said in reference to 30-year conspiracy of the Western governments against Iranian nation and the Islamic Revolution that injustice has turned into a norm in today’s world, adding that it is an integral part of the western capitalist system.
Referring to the efforts made by the Islamic Revolution to uphold administration of justice in the world community, the Supreme Leader said that Good willing the banner of justice will one day be hoisted across the world.
