Culprits behind insults to revolutionary values to be tried next week

Tehran, Dec 18, IRNA – General and Revolutionary Prosecutor of Tehran said a number of culprits behind insult to the Late Founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini will be tried next week.
Abbas Ja’afari Dolatabadi said investigations on individuals or trends behind the anti-revolutionary gatherings on the occasion of the “Students Day” on December 7 and after that were going on “in a rapid pace”.
In an exclusive interview with IRNA on Friday, he said those who behave and work against the ideals of the Late Imam Khomeini will certainly be dealt with harshly and with no mercy.
He persistently urged those who claimed to be followers of the path of the Late Imam to detach themselves from anti-revolutionary forces and the enemies of the Islamic Revolution and come back to the values of the Iranian nation.
Commenting on the remarks of Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani who during his sermons this week as Tehran’s substitute Friday Prayers Leader criticized certain websites for triggering unrest in the society, he said the websites, and even news agencies, which embarked on putting up insulting material against Islamic Republic authorities will be harshly dealt with.
