Iranian not sought Pakistani technology to build nuclear bomb

Islamabad,Dec 15 ,IRNA--Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan , Mashallah Shakri has said that Iran has established its nuclear assets on its own and denied seeking any technical support from Pakistani scientists.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he said that Iranian nuclear assets have no links with Pakistani nuclear system and world’s propaganda regarding the insecurity of Pakistani nuclear assets is untrue and biased.

He said that Iran respects Pakistani scientist, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan and but it does not means that it acquired any support from him.

Regarding the US additional troops likely to be deployed in Afghanistan , Mashallah Shakri said the move will destabilize peace in the region and tremendously increase the production of drugs as well as terrorist’s activities

He added that Afghan issue should be resolved through dialogue and NATO force be realized the reality and try to understand the problems emerged from their long stay in the host county.

He said that Iran has brotherly relations with Pakistan and ready to export 2000MW electricity to Pakistan .

The Iranian Ambassador said that Gas Pipeline Project is underway and the laying of Pipeline is on in Iranian side but Pakistan has not yet started due to American pressure.

He said the trade is continued with Pakistan and joint meetings are being held between the two countries to resolve the trade matters and hundreds of Pakistani traders sought business visas from Quetta consulate office.

He said the meeting with Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Aslam Riasani and Governor, Sardar Magsi remained positive and the problems of traders raised in the meeting will be resolved.

Responding to a question, he said that religious groups and opposition in Iran are enjoying complete freedom but no body is allowed to disturb law and order.

To another question, he said that Iran is consistently progressing and preserving uranium to increase the need of energy in the country and its nuclear program is only for peaceful purpose.

Iranian uranium capacity is 3.5 percent whereas it preserves uranium for atomic bomb up to 90 percent and instead the world wants to impose sanctions and we would face them.
