Moussavi: I have come to end era of telling lies, making files

Bandar Abbas, June 11, IRNA – 10th Presidential Elections hopeful Mir-Hossein Moussavi said here late Wednesday night, “I have come to put an end to era of the liar and file maker government.”

In last leg of his election campaign, Moussavi added at Takhti Stadium of Bandar Abbas (port city), where he had arrived at 11 pm, “I wonder how come those who keep forwarding unanswered greeting cards to the United States are the opponents of America, but then anyone who criticizes them is labeled either as Zionist, or as American?”

The former and last prime minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that the reason why he has set foot at the election scene is that he had noticed how easily the laws were being breached and how deep the gap between the government and the nation had become at an atmosphere where telling lies had become a habit for the state officials and efforts aimed at reversing that sick trend was a duty.

The presidential election candidate said that the head of the 9th Government is a power monger and the reason why he has resolved the Budget and Planning Organization and such foundations as the Monday and Credit Council was the restrictive nature of such bodies is for the reigning power.”

Expressing delight that he has told the nation the realities during the course of his election campaign, Moussavi said, “It is now time for remaining alert till the Election Day and the day after it.”

Objecting to the allocation of an extra-time session to Ahmadinejad at state TV for his campaign On Wednesday night, he said that the move had been unjust, since the other candidates had been deprived of it.

He said, “All the same, the move’s backfire would be stronger than its supposed benefit."

He reiterated, “Some people have spread the rumor that if Moussavi would win the elections he would cut the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee (IKRC) monthly payments and take back the Justice Shares, but would not be so.”

Moussavi said, “The people would receive their rights and even extra bonuses.”
