Moussavi: Some people say why I called him a dictator, I say why not

Tehran, June 9, IRNA – 10th IRI Presidential Election hopeful Mir-Hossein Moussavi said here Monday evening some people ask me why I called President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a dictator, and I ask them why shouldn’t I.
According to IRNA Political Desk reporter, Moussavi who was speaking at the Monday evening gathering of the Green Thinkers Gathering at Badr Sports Hall in a southern Tehran district said that the green wave of our supporters have connected Tehran’s northmost Tajrish Square to southmost Railway Square (Tehran’s lengthiest north-south street.
He added, “Those who fabricate false statistics and tell lies to the people had better realize that the people are standing tall today to ward off lies from their country.”
He pointed out that he has come to the scene to bring back honesty and pureness to Iran, saying, “We are opposed to the government’s interference in people’s personal affairs and expect it to lower the inflation to zero level and to serve the people.”
Moussavi said that the country’s ministries have been turned into cozy corners for the rambling of cousins today, said, “You who speak about justice, whey then have you established a government of relatives’ rule?”
He said, “I would let the people know the entire irrational deeds after I would take the lead so that they would know and judge for themselves.”
Moussavi said, “We see no justice in observed in our society today. Our expectation from a government is on that would be truthful.”
Referring to the gathering of Ahmadinejad’s fans at Tehran Grand Prayer Complex, Mosalla, Moussavi said, “Promising cash payments, they have gathered a crowd having carried them from throughout Iran to Mosalla to clap for them.”
He added, “Today the people are asking for real justice. No country is truly powerful unless it has a strong economy and our plan is revival of Iran’s grandeur to it.”
Returning to the question why he calls Ahmadinejad a dictator, Moussavi said, “I say so because he does not abide by the laws, so why should we not call him a dictator?”
