Iranian nuclear officials due in China by Sunday

Beijing, April 18, IRNA -- A number of Iranian nuclear officials are scheduled to visit China on Saturday and Sunday to attend an international ministerial conference on nuclear energy in the 21st century in Beijing.
Deputy Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) for International Affairs Mohammad Saeedi, Deputy Head of IAEO Ahmad Fayyazbakhsh and Iran’s Ambassador to IAEA Ali-Asghar Soltaniyeh would represent Iran in the conference.
The conference on nuclear energy in the 21st century is due to be held in Beijing from April 20-22.
A large number of experts from various countries including Iran, the US, India, Germany, France, China, Nigeria, Chile, Jordan, Syria and Switzerland will attend the confab.
Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Mohamed ElBaradei, Director of the China Atomic Energy Authority Qiufa Chen, Secretary-General of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Angel Gurria and representatives of IAEA are to participate in the conference.
