Embassy dismisses Japanese daily's false allegations

Tokyo, April 3, IRNA – The Iranian Embassy to Japan on Friday issued a statement to condemn the recent false claims by Tokyo's Sankei newspaper that Iran and North Korea had military cooperation.
Sankei newspaper has written in its recent edition that a group of Iranian experts and engineers are in North Korea to take part in the country’s missile test ceremony.
The embassy's statement, a copy of which was available to IRNA, ruled out claims of the Japanese newspaper regarding any sort of military cooperation between Iran and North Korea or visit of an Iranian delegation to that country.
The statement said the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Embassy in Japan believes that those spreading such false news aim to harm the good relations between Tehran and Tokyo.
