Turning point attained in Iran's nuclear process: lawmaker

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Tehran, July 9, IRNA
Iran-Nuclear-Majlis
Iran has reached a turning point in the process of becoming a nuclear state, a member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Elham Amin-Zadeh said on Wednesday.

At this stage, Iran should, like other stages of becoming a nuclear state, make bold and correct decisions, she underlined.

Speaking to IRNA, the lawmaker added that the insistence of the Iranians on their legitimate rights and their resistance to Western states' illegitimate demands have brought the country to the present turning point.

By adopting a smart and strong diplomacy at the international level, Tehran should try to reduce the costs of its resistance, the MP said.

Noting that Iran's nuclear issue had three aspects: technical, legal and political, she urged Iranian policy-makers and lawmakers to pay due attention to all major aspects of making policies by taking into account future stands on the nuclear issue.
