Grounds well-prepared for intensive nuclear talks with G5+1

Head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said on Tuesday that grounds are well prepared for intensive talks with the Group 5+1 over nuclear program.
Addressing Majlis formal session, the MP said that the latest visit to Tehran of the European Union foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, and the "positive tendency of some of the European members of the 5+1, including Germany despite US sanctions against Iran" were major reasons for the current preparations."
"Deputies of the Iranian nation at Majlis would insist on defending its rights," Boroujerdi said addressing the Group 5+1 member states.
He urged the government to speed up the process of national economic development passed by Majlis envisaging to generate 20,000 megawatt electricity from nuclear energy.
Stressing that the Iranian nation is peace loving and justice-seeking, Boroujerdi said Iranians are, at the same time, against any form of war-mongering or oppressive policies being exercised by the US and Israel.
Such policies, he added, had no use for the world population but massacre, crisis and insecurity.
Boroujerdi further noted that the Iranian nation would never be afraid of any threat.
