Jalili: Iran to continue talks with G 5+1 based on win-win policy `

Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili said on Saturday that the Islamic Republic of Iran has offered its strategic package to continue talks with group 5+1 based on a win-win policy.
Jalili made the remarks in a video-conference with some 200 German intellectuals, politicians, security officials, academics and reporters attending a conference in Nuremberg.
Iran's agreement to resume negotiations with the group 5+1 is a golden opportunity to further consolidate and bolster peace, stability and security in the region as well as in the world, he said adding that Iran spares no efforts to win confidence of the group 5+1 during the talks.
As a member of NPT and IAEA Iran will remain committed to its obligations but will not submit to any illegal pressures and is to continue its peaceful nuclear activities, Jalili said.
The best possible option for Iran and the EU to focus on commonalties between the two sides and the packages would be to the benefit of both sides, the whole region as well as the entire world, Jalili pointed out.
The EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana said that the proposed ackages exchanged by Iran and EU have many things in common.
Solana invited the two sides to adopt a profound and far-sighted views on resolving more serious challenges through dialogue.
