ElBaradei-Mottaki discuss latest developments on nuclear issue

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and IAEA Chief Mohamed ElBaradei discussed the latest developments on Iran's nuclear activities here Saturday afternoon.

According to Foreign Ministry Media Department report, in the meeting, ElBaradei presented his viewpoints on IAEA's measures concerning strengthening confidence building process between Iran and International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA) and said the process is very useful and important and its continuation will be positive for both sides.

Mottaki, for his part, appreciated IAEA director general efforts and initiatives and said his works proved that Iran's nuclear dossier should be solved in the Agency.

He added, "Among all options, Iran has chosen cooperation with the IAEA since the very beginning."

Expounding on Iran's geo-political position, Mottaki said, "Iran's potentials can be used for maintaining peace, stability and security in the region."
