Larijani urges resumption of G5+1 dialogue with Iran

Leadership envoy in the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani here Monday called for resumption of the G5+1 talks with Iran on the nuclear issue.
Talking to reporters, Larijani said, "The time is ripe for our partners not to waste time and for the G5+1 to start talks with Iran."
Larijani said the Iran-IAEA plan of action will come to an end by the next few months. "The plan of action is a good way and it was the most important work base which managed to relieve their concerns on the past and present condition of Iran's nuclear issue." He said, "The next step is that they should raise in talks other issues, if any."
Asked about French president Nicholai Sarkozy's claim that Israel ill possibly launch strike on Iran, Larijani said it a play game.
He said Sarkozy had said other things earlier too.
On Iraqi prime minister advisor Muvafak al-Rubai's proposal for trilateral Iran-US-Syria talks, Larijani said, "I don't know what al-Rubai had said. Relations between Iran and Syria are close and the two share the view to help the country's government. We should wait and see what he had said and for what such words are raised." 1420**1771
