Jalali: Iran entitled to enrichment based on NPT

Rapporteur of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Kazem Jalali said here Saturday that Iran is entitled to enrichment based on NPT and Tehran will never accept suspension.

Jalali told Alalam TV that Iran's stance is basically based on cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency and removal of concerns, if any.

"We have repeatedly announced that we are ready to fully allay concerns and have serious cooperation with the IAEA," he said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Jalali said Tehran is not at all after tension because it believes that it would not be to the benefit of Iran, the region and global community.

"As our statesmen have repeatedly emphasized, we move within the framework of IAEA regulations and would not bow to pressures and force," concluded Jalali.
