Mousavian-Prosecutor General
Tehran prosecutor general reversed Wednesday a verdict delivered by a judge to clear Hossein Mousavian of charges levelled against him.
Mousavian, who was a member of Iran's negotiating team on nuclear issue before President Ahmadinejad government, has been accused of a number of charges including espionage, but a judge in Tehran on Tuesday cleared him of that charge.
A statement by Tehran Prosecutor General Office said the judge's verdict to suspend prosecution of Mousavian was against the laws of security crimes and the decision has been reversed.
The prosecutor has ordered the case be referred to a court in Tehran so that the judicial process could continue.
The prosecutor has also ordered the Intelligence Ministry to refrain from revealing any information on the case until the final verdict is given on it.
