Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said in a letter to the top diplomats of the United Nations member states that Iran resolved outstanding issues with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

"Based on agreement reached between Iran and the IAEA last August, Iran delivered documents of metal uranium to the agency on November 8 and the case was closed," Mottaki wrote in letters to his counterparts.

Referring to the agreement between Iran and IAEA, he noted that Tehran's initiative has created a positive atmosphere, and there is no more excuse for the UN Security Council to examine Iranian nuclear program.

In fact, ground is well prepared for IAEA to examine the issue through ordinary process away from any interference of security and political bodies, he said.

Mottaki said that the international community is aware of the fact that Iranian nuclear program is transparent, but certain states are insisting on illegal and illegitimate procedures to deal with Iran.

Iran won victory on November 15 when International Atomic Energy Agency acknowledged it resolved outstanding issues about P1 and P2 centrifuges.

IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei said in his report on Iran addressed to the Agency's Board of Governors that 'the written answers Iran delivered to the Agency support the documentation', proving Iranian compliance with the Non-Proliferation Treaty and the Safeguards.

ElBaradei verified non-diversion of the nuclear materials and uranium enrichment in Iran.

IAEA director general said that Iran has installed 3,000 centrifuges operating in line with the Agency's Safeguards.
