Head of Iran's Interest Section in Egypt in a meeting with Egyptian Deputy Foreign Minister Vafa Bassim expressed Iran's readiness for nuclear cooperation with Egypt.

Hossein Rajabi in a meeting with Egyptian senior diplomat, submitted Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki's written message to his Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Aboul Gheit.

Explaining Iran's nuclear program, Rajabi said, "Iran as one of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) members is continuing its program under the agency's laws."

In spite of enemies' baseless claims, Iran has always had a full cooperation with the IAEA, Rajabi added.

The Iranian diplomat continued, "Upon IAEA's inspectors reports and several reports of IAEA's chief ElBaradei, Iran has never deviated from international lawas in its nuclear programs."

Congratulating Egypt on beginning its nuclear program, Rajabi expressed Iran's readiness for cooperation with and participation in this concern.

Ms. Bassim, for her part, talked about the advantages of the nuclear energy and called it a" natural right" for all countries to use.

She said, "Using nuclear energy is an inalienable right of Iranians and we have always supported Iran's peaceful nuclear program."
