Iran is systematically addressing questions on its nuclear activities, Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi said on Tuesday.
From six main questions raised by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iran has answered first question on plutonium, questions on P1 and P2 are under study, and others will be systematically addressed, Araqchi noted.
According to the Press and Information Department of the Foreign Ministry, he made the remarks in a meeting with 10 British parliamentarians in Tehran.
In the meeting, the official referred to the chronology of Iran's peaceful nuclear program before and after the victory of Islamic Revolution, saying that Tehran continues its fully transparent nuclear drive, and that IAEA is satisfied with Iran's cooperation in this respect.
"We expect IAEA to present proper evaluations of cooperation, and measures taken by Iran towards confidence-building and its transparency," he noted.
The British MPs, for their part, asked about the Iranian nuclear policy as well as stances of Iran on Iraq, Afghanistan and the Middle East which were responded by the deputy foreign minister.
The British MPs are all from the Foreign Policy Committee of House of Commons including three major parties of Labor, Liberal Democrat and Tories.
They have traveled to Iran to hold talks with senior Iranian officials on issues of mutual interests.
