Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said here Sunday that Iran is making relentless efforts to confront terrorist grouplets.
In his weekly press briefing, Hosseini in response to a question said that security and military forces of Iran have properly dealt with terrorist grouplets in border points.
Asked about an insult made by a Kuwaiti newspaper to Iranian officials, he expressed regret that certain regional media were acting against relations among states.
He warned that Iran will deal with any insulting acts, noting that if such behaviors continue, they will overshadow other areas of mutual ties.
"Iranian media want to be allowed to have the same treatment, but we have so far prevented them from doing so," he said, adding, "If such a trend continues, domestic press will retaliate."
Hosseini further underlined that the Zionist regime is the most important factor threatening peace and stability in the region and the whole world.
He called the Zionist regime as illegitimate, and said that the regime is based on occupation, aggression and state terrorism.
