Iran-Nuclear-Ahmadinejad
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that "the most bad-tempered" person on the earth has sent a message to Iran, expressing readiness for talks.
"The most bad-tempered man has announced readiness for talks on condition that Iran stop (its nuclear activities) at the level of 3,000 centrifuges," said Ahmadinejad in an address to a group of people in Birjand (Razavi Khorassan province).
He said, "I told those, who brought the message, on behalf of the Iranian people that we have not called for talks for which conditions have been set. If talks are to be held, that's the Iranian nation that should set conditions for the bullies and criminals."
He went on to say, "The rest of the bad-tempered individuals say we accept your 3,000 centrifuges but you should later announce the speed of you work and the number of your centrifuges operating daily or weekly. Our answer to those is who are you to speak about the Iranian nation."
He said Iran is a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency and its activities like other members are based on the IAEA regulations and under supervision of the international agency.
"Do we ask you how many centrifuges you have, what do you do within boundaries of your country and how is your living condition? Iran is committed to the IAEA. The Agency has a charter and law and it does not see any reason to answer you," announced Ahmadinejad.
The president said that the Iranian nation is for dialogue and talks but hold itself responsible for its independence, dignity, freedom, culture and absolute rights.
"The Iranian nation is well aware of your intention and if you wish to do any damn thing, the youth of the country will thwart your plots."
Ahmadinejad once again said the Iranian nation will not give up its absolute rights even one iota.
