Iran's nuclear approaches, objectives unchangeable: Hosseini

Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini here on Sunday announced that no change will be made in approaches and objectives of Iran's peaceful nuclear program Talking to reporters, he said, "There is full solidarity between officials and the nation inside and outside the country in the area of objectives of Iran's peaceful nuclear activities and the activities will continue with full capacity."
On the Caspian Sea legal regime, he said, "Consensus among the Caspian Sea littoral states is the fairest way to determine the sea's legal regime.
"The issue of the Caspian Sea legal regime is a specialized and time-consuming issue," Hosseini noted.
The 50-percent share of Iran and Russia, each, was not explicitly mentioned in the previous accords, he added.
The Caspian Sea is a lake, therefore it is not included in the seas' convention and consensus is the fairest possible way, Hosseini said.
On health condition of the kidnapped Japanese national in Iran, he said he is currently in a good health condition.
"We will follow up release of the kidnapped Japanese national through Interior Ministry and the police," he noted.
He added, "We will make use of legal channels to release him."
