Commander says air defense equipment provided domestically

Commander of the Islamic Republic Army's Air Force Brigadier General Pilot Ahmad Miqani said here Sunday that all the required air equipment and facilities are provided domestically.
Miqani, speaking to told IRNA on the occasion of the Sacred Defense Week, said that what made the yesterday's parade
distinctive from previous years' parades was the type of air and ground equipment on show.
He said the radar equipment, air-defense systems and fighter jets showcased in the parade were all domestically made.
He added that Sa'eqeh and Azarakhsh jet fighters are instances of Iran's achievements in the field of air defense that were displayed yesterday.
He noted that Sa'eqeh fighter is more capable of its previous generations in terms of its electronic warfare capabilities.
