Soltaniyeh describes ElBaradei's report as positive

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Vienna, Sept 10, IRNA
Iran-IAEA-ElBaradei
Iran's Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Ali-Asghar Soltaniyeh described on Monday the report delivered by IAEA Chief Mohamed ElBaradei to IAEA Board of Governors as 'positive'.

Speaking to IRNA, he said the recent agreements between the Islamic Republic of Iran and IAEA had left positive impacts on ElBaradei's report.

He said only a few countries such as the US constantly call for full suspension of uranium enrichment and try to tarnish Iran's image, he said.

Criticizing the stands adopted by the US ambassador to IAEA on recent developments in Iran's nuclear dossier, he said his stands indicate that there is no room for such views and position and that they have no other alternative but to change policy and join others.

Referring to ratification of statement by NAM ministerial meeting in Tehran in support of Iran-IAEA cooperation, he said it seems that the isolated stands taken by the US did not work anymore and they will be forced to quite exertion of political pressures on Iran.
