Talks between Iranian and Russian officials about completion of the delayed project on Bushehr nuclear power plant in southern Iran "is going ahead on a good track," government spokesman, Gholam-Hossein Elham said on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters at his weekly press conference, he said, "talks were underway for the completion of the project" which was due to be finished in September 2007.
Construction operation for the project was halted earlier this year over claims made by the Russian side that Iran was not paying its bills for the project.
"There are some problems which should be removed through negotiations," Elham stressed.
Commenting on the gasoline rationing plan which has been implemented by government nationwide since late June, the spokesman said, "Government is serious about its decision on gasoline rationing and will continue it as scheduled."
Referring to the issue of criticizing government performance, Elham said that government of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad "will accept any logical and reasonable criticism.
"Critics should provide accurate and documented information in their criticisms," Elham said.
