Iran-IAEA talks winds up, two parties pleased with progress

The latest round of talks between Iranian and the UN nuclear agency officials wound up on Thursday evening with the two parties saying they made progress.
The talks focused on drawing up a benchmark to settle the dispute about technical aspects of Iranian nuclear program within 60 days.
Olli Heinonen, IAEA director for Safeguards, and accompanying IAEA directors held marathon talks with the Deputy Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council for International Affairs Javad Vaeedi.
The IAEA director for safeguards operations, Herman Nackartes, IAEA legal advisor, Johan Rautenbach, and director in charge of the agency's external relations and policy coordination, Vilmos Cxerveny, were other members of the IAEA team for talks.
