US should avoid bullying over Iran's nuclear program

Deputy Chairman of Majlis Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy Mohammad Nabi Roudaki said on Saturday that the US should stop bullying over Iran's nuclear program.
He called for opening up a new chapter in Iran-IAEA talks to resolve the issue through understanding and cooperation.
Roudaki told IRNA that opponents to Iran's nuclear program mainly the US should avoid adopting illogical stand and move forward towards peace and tranquility.
Referring to recent comments made by IAEA's Director General Mohamed ElBaradei on the civilian nature of Iran's nuclear program, he said that ElBaradei's comments are of political nature and the agency's fully-equipped inspectors have constantly inspected Iran's nuclear facilities during the past two years.
IAEA inspectors have verified that Iranian has made no diversion from Non-Proliferation Treaty and Iranian nuclear program is civilian.
ElBaradei in his 1,030-page report had declared that Iran has made no diversion from NPT but "today he added that he is not confident about the nature of Iran's nuclear activities in the future." Such an ambivalent approach of the nuclear agency has marred the image of IAEA, Roudaki said.
"Of course, ElBaradei has made his latest comment due to pressure from US representative to IAEA."
