Hosseini calls for US to stop interference in Iran

Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini here Sunday called for the US officials to stop interference in Iran's internal affairs.
Hosseini was speaking to domestic and foreign reporters at his weekly press conference about US officials interference in case of Iranian nationals under arrest on charge of spying.
As per Iran-US accord signed in the Algiers in 1981, Washington has undertaken not to meddle in Iranian national affairs.
"Respective officials are currently holding investigations about the charges in line with Iranian legal code," he said.
Asked whether London has called on Tehran to help find five British nationals missed in Iraq, he said, "No call has been made in this regard."
Hosseini, in the meantime. rejected anti-Iran allegations on transfer of weapons from Tehran to Damascus by a Turkish train.
"Certain individuals attempted to damage Tehran-Ankara ties. Their efforts will not be successful.
"Good relations between Iran and Turkey will continue," the spokesman stated.
