Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani said on Saturday that outstanding issues between Iran and IAEA on the country's peaceful nuclear activities should be resolved based on international laws and regulations.
In an interview with IRNA in Madrid, he said since Iran's nuclear dossier was first raised in IAEA, some have tried to bring the country's peaceful activities under questions and only sought to make excuses and create ambiguities, he said.
A number of these issues have been removed and the rest would be resolved within international laws and regulations, he said.
"We believe that the remaining points, if any, should be resolved based on international regulations," he said.
The EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana in his press conference called the current negotiations with Iran's top nuclear negotiator as a "significant development" which played a key role in resolving the issue.
