Tehran, May 24, IRNA
Iran-Nuclear-Larijani
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council said here Wednesday night in accordance with IAEA Chief's new report no deviation has been observed in inspecting entire nuclear substances in Iran.

Ali Larijani added, "This proves that Iran is moving within the framework of the international laws, and is merely using its legitimate rights in its peaceful nuclear activities."

According to the reporter of IRNA Political Desk, reacting to IAEA Director General Muhamed ElBaradei's Wednesday report on our country's peaceful nuclear activities, Larijani reiterated, "As it is stated in the conclusion part of this report, the agency can continue its fact finding checks based on Iran's cooperation."

Referring to the part on random IAEA inspectors' inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities, he said, "That proves Iran has no problem regarding its nuclear activities."

The SNSC Secretary added, "Mr. Elbaradei has added in his report that no sign of reprocessing has been observed in Iran."

Larijani reiterated, "In both UNSC resolutions it is emphasized that Iran must suspend its reprocessing activities, while there has never been any such activities in Iran, and this proves the UN Security Council is not dealing with Iran's nuclear dossier technically, since it is totally politically motivated."

Iran's top nuclear negotiator added, "Of course Mr. Elbaradei, on Iran's suspension of the side agreements, believes this suspension should have taken place based on agency's approval, ignoring the fact that Iran had applied those agreements voluntarily, and is therefore entitled the right to revise its decision."

The SNSC Secretary expressed surprise that the IAEA Chief has in his report stated that "suspending the side agreements is

unprecedented in the literature of the agency", but at the same time repeatedly asks for the suspension of Iran's legal enticement activity, in contrast with Iran's rights in accordance with the NPT." Larijani emphasized, "Agency's access to country's nuclear facilities is in accordance with Iran's legal commitments, and no ambiguity should exist in that respect."
