Iran's Air Force combat power at highest level, commander

The combat force, equipment and skilled personnel of Iran's Air Force are at the highest level, said Commander of the Air Force Brigadier General Ahmad Miqani on Tuesday.

Speaking to IRNA, the commander said that the Air Force is capable of mass producing best equipment thanks to the experience of its expert personnel.

He said that the Air Force is well-prepared to attend the Army Day parade on April 18 to demonstrate power of the Army, Commander Miqani said, on that day, only a part of the Air Force combat capability will be displayed.

Iran celebrates Army Day on April 18 each year when the Armed Forces personnel stage parade and the combat equipment are being put on display.

Miqani said that the knowledge of the Air Force experts keeps up with international standards.

The commander added that various defense equipment including anti-aircraft batteries would be shown on the Army Day.
