Iran-Ahmadinejad-Nuclear
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Sunday that Iran's nuclear activities are quite legal and based on NPT, adding that the resolutions issued by the United Nations Security Council are illegal.
The statement was part of an exclusive interview with France Channel 2 TV network.
The chief executive said that it is impossible to assess legal and illegal activities against each other and call for concurrent suspension of both.
He said that under such conditions, the solution to the issue is general respect for law, adding that those seeking to impose sanctions against Iran will suffer a greater damage themselves.
The president urged that the Europeans should not follow the US wrong decisions, particularly in case of Iran's nuclear issue.
Criticizing the wrong strategies of some international assemblies, including the United Nations and its Security Council, Ahmadinejad said that many problems are rooted in these strategies, which should be revised.
