Gov't spokesman: Cabinet reconsiders cooperation with IAEA

Spokesman of Iranian government said Sunday evening that the government has decided to recosider part of its cooperation with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Referring to the last night adoption of an illegal resolution against Iran by the UN Security Council, GHolam-Hossein Elham said the cabinet in its Sunday evening session headed by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad decided to reconsider part of its cooperation with IEAE until the return of the Iranian case from the Security Council to the UN atomic body in accordance with a related bill ratified by Iranian parliament (Majlis).
He said the Iranian government ratified the freeze of articles 1 and 3 of a document related to the Safeguard which obligates Iran to inform IEAE beforehand of any planning and decision making about setting up nuclear plants and related projects, while accoring to NPT the member states should annouce their nuclear projects only six months before their operational phase.
