Iran-Larijani-Nuclear
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani here Tuesday night dismissed the claim about slowing down uranium enrichment.
Larijani made the remark in a joint press conference with Chairman of the political bureau of Hamas Movement Khaled Mashaal.
In response to a question whether Iran has slowed down its nuclear activities, he replied, "No slow-down has taken place."
Asked about attempts underway to issue the second anti-Iran resolution, he said that in fact, there are two options to the issue.
"One is to pursue the matter through real talks, rather than artificial talks. We prefer the first option," he added.
Larijani said that if the other party selects harsh approach to the matter and issues a resolution, they will face Iran's strong reaction and conditions will change.
Stating that the choice of the options makes difference to Iran, he said that issuing of resolution will affect many things.
Iran's top nuclear negotiator said that both sides will benefit from solving the issue through talks.
