Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar said that Iran is fully prepared to teach a lesson to possible aggressors to make them repent of such a measure forever.

The remark was made in an exclusive interview with Algerian News Network.

Underlining Iran's interest in regional security and peace, he said that Iran's policy is clear and that Iran has repeatedly said hat security should be established by the countries of the region.

Turning to the presence of American troops in the Middle East as a factor behind regional insecurity, he noted that crisis in the region is rooted in the presence of US forces and that the critical situation of Iraq and Afghanistan is the best evidence of such a claim.

The minister said that the presence of US troops in the Middle East is against the interests of regional states and called on US officials to withdraw from the region quickly providing the people of region with the opportunity to promote security and stability in their countries.

Concerning the US hostile approach to Iran and the possibility of its getting prepared for an attack aiming to annihilate the country's nuclear installations, he underlined readiness to confront any threat.

"By resorting to psychological war, the US attempts to exert pressure on Iran. But such methods will rather increase the problems and complications facing the American forces in the region," he added.

About the United Nations Security Council's anti-Iran resolution and the extent of its impact on Iran's military industries, he said that today most of Iranian Army's weapons are produced domestically and that Iran no more needs to supply its weapons from foreign markets.

"Arms sanctions have been imposed against Iran in the past. The resolutions issued against Iran under the White House support just target the US domestic scene and aim to fill up the columns of their dailies and magazines," he added.
