Government spokesman, Gholam-Hossein Elham here Monday said that if the enemies ever cause any problem for Iran, the Iranians will show a proper reaction, given their potentials.
Elham made the remark while speaking to domestic and foreign reporters in response to a question about the country's reaction to foreign threats.
Underlining that Iran is seeking tranquility, peace and friendship among nations, Elham said that Iranians dislike to see any country facing problems.
"Iran has managed to access the technology for production of nuclear fuel and will celebrate such an achievement during this year's Ten-Day-Dawn ceremony," he added.
In response to a question about the next phase of the anti-Iran resolution, which gives Iran a two-month deadline, the spokesman said that those having issued the resolution should have predicted a way out of this dilemma for themselves, adding that the indicated deadline actually applies to them.
Concerning another question on the rumor about the arrest of two Iranian officials in Iraq, he said, "Iran has extensive and favorable relations with Iraq, but when a government is pressurized by foreign forces, such events are not unexpected.
"Both foreign troops in this country and the Iraqi government are responsible to establish security there and solve any problem that may arise."
About the claim that government's decision to replace dollar with euro in the country's hard currency basket was not taken by experts, he said that some parties seek to reject the governments decision, while they themselves cannot even present scientific reasons to justify what they are saying.
"Financial and hard currency policies are managed by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) and the decision on hard currency replacement is confirmed by CBI.
About the decision of a student association to stage a rally in protest at Britain's stance against Iran at the Tehran representative office of Shell Oil Co. and the question asked about the government's approach to the issue, he said that, similar to other social classes, students also have the right to voice their views.
