Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said on Sunday that Iran will pursue it peaceful nuclear activities irrespective of the UN Security Council resolution, if any.
"Since our (nuclear) activities fall within framework of the international regulations, we will not stop our activities in case of any UN Security Council resolution," said Hosseini in his weekly press briefing when asked about Iran's reaction to the UN Security Council's likely resolution.
Also asked whether Iran will reconsider its relations with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) if any resolution is issued against it, Hosseini said Iran has not yet made any such decision.
"Now we are acting within framework of the IAEA Safeguards and no such decision has yet been made," he made it clear.
He said Tehran will make necessary decisions on the basis of the decisions and measures of the other party.
