Larijani: Iran to implement nuclear R&D projects by year-end

Iran's top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani said here Tuesday that Iran is intent on materializing all its nuclear Research and Development projects by March 19 which marks the end of the current Iranian year of 1385.
"All Iran's nuclear R&D projects will be commissioned by end of this year," said Larijani in an exclusive interview with IRNA on the sidelines of the fourth meeting of Arab World Strategy 2006 in Doha on Tuesday.
Larijani said Iran has nothing to hide in connection with nuclear energy and all the world know quite well that 'we are in the stage of research and development'.
He referred to the International Atomic Energy Agency's cameras monitoring Iran's nuclear activities and said, "We have submitted all our programs to the IAEA and this is certainly done under their supervision."
On Iraq issue, Larijani said there are complicated conditions in Iraq now and regional states should join hands to solve problems in the country.
He said the UAE, which is a very important country in the region, can play an effective role in supporting Iraqi government and solving problem in the country.
He noted that he had fruitful talks with deputy head of the UAE Emir and Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al-Maktoum on support for Iraqi government and restoration of security in Iraq.
There is positive view among UAE rulers on Iran's nuclear rights and they are well aware of some artificial concerns and provocations about Iran's nuclear issue by certain states, he said.
Larijani arrived in Dubai on Monday to attend the fourth meeting of the Arab World Strategy 2006 on an invitation by the UAE deputy Emir. He addressed the meeting as a distinguished guest on Tuesday.
The fourth annual conference of Arab World Strategy 2006 opened in Dubai on Monday with the participation of 22 world leaders and 32 industrial leaders.
More than 600 participants took part in the three-day meeting and 115 of them delivered addresses on strategic achievements of the Arab world.
