Ahmadinejad: Iran ready for talks with US if it changes behavior

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Tehran, Nov 14, IRNA
Iran-US-Ahmadinejad
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Tuesday that Iran will hold dialogue with the US if it changes its behavior.

"If the US government rectifies its behavior, we will talk with it too; the US statesmen have some special kind of behavior; they consider themselves as masters of the world and we are against this approach; Tehran stresses that it will go into dialogue with all, including Americans, under special conditions and our minimum condition is that there should be no compromise on rights of the Iranian nation," said Ahmadinejad in a press conference.

He said Iran will hold dialogue with any state, excluding the Zionist Regime because of the fact that it is a usurper.

He added that Iran's diplomacy is based on friendship and dialogue and there is a good reason for possible violation of the rule.

Ahmadinejad further said Iran will draw up and establish new monetary and banking regulations in the world, if necessary.

He made the remark when asked about the possibility of UN Security Council sanctions against Iran over its nuclear issue.

"Iran has prepared itself to meet any circumstances," he declared.

The president said Iran is among the most powerful states in the world because of the support of the public opinion. "And that's why our enemies in the world are against public opinion."
