IRGC Commander: Enemies embarrassed by Iran's power

IRGC Commander Major General Yahya Rahim afavi said here Sunday that the current military wargame code-named 'Great Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)' forced enemies to recognize Iran as very brave and powerful country with the strongest military might in the Persian Gulf region.
The maneuvers are being held to display Iran's defense capability in the field of missile industry.
Prior to the final phase of the wargame, he said "Our nation with the divine and wise leadership of its Supreme Leader is ready to thwart any aggression."
Addressing the Basij (volunteer) forces, he recommended them to broaden their communications with different organizations affiliated to the ground forces.
"We do not limit ourselves to your individual training and your weapons and each and every one of you should master all existing weapons...,)" he said.
"We have learned good lessons from enemies in the Middle East region and are fully aware of their points of strength and weak oints. We are able to completely destroy their airborne forces at any time," he said.
"We do not cast any covetous eyes on others' territories and call for restoration of peace and tranquility to the Persian Gulf and the Middle East regions," he underlined.
The aggressors have rushed to the region from other parts of the world, occupying Afghanistan and Iraq and only in Iraq they have caused about 700,000 casualties, he said.
Americans, British and Zionists are the root-cause of all atrocities in the world, he said adding that they have entered the Middle East region to plunder the whole region of its wealth and help stabilize the Zionist regime.
The Zionists without support and green lights of the US never dare to massacre innocent civilians in Palestine, he said.
Americans' hands are stained with bloods of Iraqi, Palestinian and Afghan people, he said.
Referring to recent US parliamentary election, he said the wise American people said a big 'No' to new warmonger conservative.
