President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Thursday talks over Iran's nuclear case is moving on a "positive track".
Ahmadinejad made the remark on Thursday when asked about recent statements of French President Jacque Chirac about negotiations with Iran.
"While we were carefully examining the Europeans' proposals package, a resolution was passed in the Untied Nations Security Council under the pressure of some powers which do not want to act according to the rule of law," he said.
President Ahmadinejad added that negotiations should have a framework and decisions and proposals should be coupled with executive guarantees.
"We have bitter experiences in this regard. We have had cooperation agreements even with the US, French, Germany and Canada but they cancelled the deals unilaterally," he said.
"Don't we have the right to give up confidence in them and seek their guarantee," he asked.
